Summary: The role of UX Design Lead and Researcher involves leading the design and research efforts for a new SaaS platform being developed by a global leader in their domain. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teams to ensure that design solutions effectively address user needs and deliver value. This is a hybrid role based in London with an immediate start and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate end-to-end design workshops, from research through prototyping to execution
- Define and drive global design strategies grounded in qualitative and quantitative research
- Advocate for design thinking at scale, building strong relationships across senior stakeholders
- Create service blueprints and holistic user journeys that span beyond digital touchpoints
- Present compelling narratives that clearly connect design impact to user and business outcomes
- Mentor and grow design talent, promoting a culture of evidence-led design and continuous learning
Key Skills:
- Expertise in design principles, emerging tools, and service design methodologies
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving design-led change
- Strategic research skills across behavioural, attitudinal, quant and qual methods
- Deep systems thinking and ability to identify and prioritise the right problems to solve

My client, a global leader in their domain, is searching for a UX Design Lead and Researcher with a passion for design, systems thinking, and improving real-world experiences. The client is looking for a UX Design Lead to join and work on a new Saas Platform that the client is building. This will be an ASAP start and hybrid London, inside IR35.
As a UX Design Lead/Researcher, you'll work with the team to craft the experience behind the platform and dashboards. You'll ensure that design not only solves the right problems, but delivers value at scale.
