Summary: The Treasury & Insurance Coordinator will manage payment processing, cash management, and oversee the Treasury, Insurance, and Tax areas for a major oil and gas client. This role involves supporting the Finance, Control & Planning Manager with special projects and ensuring compliance with tax obligations in Australia and Timor-Leste. The position is initially for a 12-month contract with potential for extension. The candidate will also manage the Treasury and Insurance Assistant and liaise with various stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payment processing to suppliers, contractors, tax authorities, and JV operators
  • Cash management including planning and reporting
  • Oversee the Treasury, Insurance, and Tax area and support the Finance, Control & Planning Manager in special projects and continuous improvement
  • Meet all tax compliance obligations and mitigate tax risk in Australia and Timor-Leste
  • MASTRO cash reporting and rolling forecasting
  • Manage prequalification and financial assessment of tenders on behalf of the Finance, Control & Planning Department

Key Skills:

  • 10 years experience in Treasury, Finance, and Tax
  • Degree in Commerce/Business, Chartered Accountant or CPA qualified
