Summary: The Sr. Information Management Specialist - Projects is responsible for managing information throughout its lifecycle, from capture to disposal, ensuring compliance with retention requirements and workflows. The role involves providing guidance to users, overseeing document management systems, and advising on lifecycle requirements for documents and content. The specialist will also monitor document consumption and identify opportunities for automation in document management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and perform activities to efficiently and systematically manage information from capture to disposal, including revision control and retention requirements.
- Provide consumer-oriented guidance and support in processes and tools, responding to requests for finding, updating, and categorization.
- Act as a superuser for system configuration in Pims, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Advise on life cycle requirements for documents and content, ensuring compliance with plans and contracts.
- Monitor document consumption and access, including tracking systems where documents are stored or linked.
- Support activities to identify opportunities for greater automation in document and content management.
Key Skills:
- Higher education or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with document management in field development projects, preferably with Operator experience.
- Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry.
- Knowledge of Data and Information Management framework terminology.
- Understanding of E&P company’s value chain.
- Excellent knowledge of Document management systems, preferably PIMS.
- Superuser experience in Office 365 products, especially Teams and SharePoint.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
