Summary: An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a dynamic team in Bristol, focusing on trauma and orthopaedic care. The role involves providing comprehensive assessments and treatments in an acute hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centred care. Candidates should be passionate about making a difference in patients' lives and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with an immediate start required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments, interventions, and treatments to patients in an acute hospital setting.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centred care.
- Tailor therapy interventions to meet the individual needs of patients in various specialties such as neuro, ortho, stroke, and elderly care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Support in discharge planning and assist patients in their rehabilitation journey.
Key Skills:
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience in acute settings or a keen interest in working in a hospital environment (prior experience in Trauma, Ortho or Acute).
- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centred care.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with a willingness to consider full-time or part-time opportunities.
