Summary: The Transport Analyst role at PE Global involves supporting the Trade Lane Manager in planning and executing transportation operations for finished products from production centers to dealers. The position requires continuous improvement initiatives and performance management of carriers, with a focus on operational metrics. This is a 6-month on-site contract based in Larne, Northern Ireland. Candidates should have relevant experience in international transportation and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas.
- Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives.
- Review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes.
- Review and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers.
- Support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor degree or third level education in Supply chain, business administration (Master is a plus) or equivalent experience in Supply chain, business administration.
- Prior experience in International transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air.
- Approx 2 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in English, optional other languages.
- Strong Analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive, Outlook).
- Good to Have (PowerPoint, Word).
- Good working knowledge of Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce.

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Transport Analyst for a leading multi-national manufacturer of construction and mining equipment client based in Larne, Northern Ireland. This is an initial 6 months contract position working on site.
