Summary: The Transport Clerk role at DHL involves ensuring the smooth operation of transport activities, managing compliance with transport systems, and fostering a positive work environment. The position requires handling colleague and driver issues, managing operational costs, and delivering high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Escalation in colleague and driver issues
- Accountable for ensuring system compliance i.e. Logics, DPM and transport systems
- Fostering an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practice to the benefit of the network
- Manage and review Transport KPI's, to identify KPL's, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours and POA and support any improvements
- Manage operational costs and identification of cost performance trends - i.e. fuel performance/accidents etc
- Promote a positive transport/network culture, supporting EOS initiatives
- Manage disciplinary and grievance in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures
- Process paperwork as required - invoices
- Operate IT systems as required
- Accountable for delivering a high quality, customer focused service
- General admin tasks
