Summary: The role of Transactional Finance Manager involves overseeing the Billing, Credit Control, and Supplier processes for a client on an interim basis of six months. The position requires leading a transactional finance team with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, while fostering a positive team culture and driving process improvements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team, ensuring effective output and career development.
  • Oversee AP & AR functions, ensuring effective controls.
  • Build positive team culture and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Manage payables, client collections, aged debtors, and credit risk.
  • Develop KPI metrics and report to Senior Management.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage corporate card spend.
  • Support system implementations and finance transformation projects.
  • Provide insight and reporting to wider Finance teams.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in AP/AR functions.
  • Proven track record of managing small teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
