Summary: The role of Training Designer in the aerospace and defence sectors involves creating effective training solutions to address performance and learning gaps. The position requires on-site work three days a week in Whiteley and candidates must be SC clearable. The designer will collaborate with the Design & Development team to develop engaging learning programs tailored for operational roles. Immediate availability is preferred for this contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, measure, and manage metrics and performance criteria for learning solutions.
- Apply suitable analysis methods to report on learning needs and support solutions for individuals and groups.
- Design innovative learning outcomes and solutions that engage learners and accommodate different learning styles.
- Develop user journeys that deliver demonstrable learning objectives, in collaboration with Learning developers.
- Apply different evaluation methodologies to assess project outcomes internally and externally.
- Integrate adult learning theory into course content, both technical and behavioural.
- Create and manage the design response and technical specifications for learning solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of current learning trends and best practices, sharing insights within the Design & Development team.
- Generate and maintain creative briefs, learning templates, documents, and reports to propose future learning solutions.
- Contribute to fostering a consistent learning culture across Operations Training.
- Design and facilitate "Train The Trainer" activities to ensure successful knowledge transfer for delivery.
- Conduct and lead Learning Needs Analysis processes to allocate appropriate learning outcomes to solutions.
- Act as the focal point for learning solutions in Operational training, offering specialist insights into the creation of learning solutions.

Our cleint is a significant entity in the aerospace and defence sectors, is on the lookout for an experienced Training Designer on a contract basis. This role requires three days a week on-site in Whiteley. Candidates must be SC clearable and ready to start ASAP.
Purpose of the Role:
