Summary: The Supply Chain Transformation Programme Manager will lead a strategic transformation initiative for one of the UK's top retailers, focusing on a multi-year programme with a budget of approximately £200m. The Programme Manager will be responsible for governance, cost management, and ensuring business continuity throughout the transformation process. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Supply Chain transformation programme aligns with the wider Supply Chain value stream vision and strategic goals.
- Establish and set up the multi-year programme, governance, and delivery plan.
- Manage and report on all costs and benefits associated with the programme.
- Create and deliver the end-to-end transformation plan, including business implementation.
- Ensure business continuity and security during the transformation process.
- Develop a successful Business Transition approach led by the Change Lead.
- Manage inbound/outbound dependencies effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to identify and manage dependencies.
Key Skills:
- Strong evidence of leading large-scale programmes with multi-million benefits over 3-5 years.
- Experience in leading organisational design changes with strong stakeholder management.
- Clear understanding of programme governance methodologies.
- Demonstrable agility in managing complex programmes across various domains (technology, distribution, optimisation).
- At least 2 examples of relevant experience in retail or supply chain environments.

They are looking for someone who can inspire and lead a strategic step change through a multi-year Supply Chain Transformation across technology, physical infrastructure, operational processes and people of circa £200m over 5 years. Accountabilities: Ensure the Supply Chain transformation programme is fully docked into the wider Supply Chain value stream vision and aligned to strategic goals and ESG targets. Establish and set up the multi year programme, programme governance & delivery plan. Accountable for management and reporting of all costs and benefits. Accountable for creation and delivery of the end to end transformation plan, including business implementation. Accountable for ensuring business continuity and security while landing of the transformation. Ensure development of a successful and complete Business Transition approach (led by Change Lead). Accountable for the successful landing of inbound/outbound dependencies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross-divisional peers identifying and managing dependencies. Experience Required Strong evidence of leading programmes of scale with multi million benefits over 3-5 years Clear evidence of leading work involving people/org design change, requiring strong stakeholder management and change leadership Clear understanding of programme governance methodologies used multiple times Demonstrable evidence of agility across all levels e.g. getting into detail when needed to lead the creation of a comprehensive plan Managing programmes of significant complexity in a number of varieties (tech, distribution network, optimisation) At a minimum at least 2 examples of doing the above in either a retail and / or supply chain environment.
