Summary: The Trade Customs Clerk role involves supporting import and export operations by ensuring compliance with UK and international trade regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
  • Prepare and review customs documentation for accuracy.
  • Provide clearance instructions and manage customs declarations.
  • Maintain compliance with HMRC regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage commodity codes and duty management system data.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers, HMRC, tax teams, and internal business units.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all customs-related activities.
