Summary: The Test Technician role involves performing IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies and executing formal test documentation. The technician will be responsible for maintaining high-quality work standards, adhering to health and safety requirements, and recording defects accurately. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies before testing or during production.
- Execute formal test documentation, including recording results for hardware, software, and firmware configurations.
- Take measurements using common range test equipment.
- Provide feedback for discrepancies in test documentation.
- Become familiar with the operating system and record all results in a timely manner.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment.
- Maintain a high quality of work to meet deadlines set by the business.
- Record details of defects found and maintain accurate test records.
