Summary: The Test Lead will oversee assurance activities within the Public Sector, specifically focusing on NHS digital transformation initiatives. This role requires effective planning, execution, and oversight of testing processes to ensure quality and compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and various teams to implement a robust testing strategy. The position is based in London or Leeds, requiring attendance one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the testing and assurance strategy across the Personalised Prevention portfolio.
- Define and implement robust testing frameworks to ensure compliance with NHS and public sector standards.
- Oversee end-to-end testing processes, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance on testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Monitor test execution, defect tracking, and resolution, ensuring timely delivery.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to report on testing progress and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards within the NHS/public sector.
- Mentor and support teams in embedding quality assurance and testing disciplines into delivery processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in leading testing and assurance activities within digital transformation programmes.
- Strong background in test planning, execution, and automation frameworks.
- Public sector experience is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
- Understanding of security and regulatory considerations in the public sector.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
