Summary: Expleo is looking for a proactive Test Kitting Engineer to support a high-profile customer in Coventry on a 12-month contract. The role involves managing the Bill of Materials for Units Under Test and coordinating procurement and logistics for powertrain testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering or automotive testing environments and possess strong technical and soft skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge powertrain testing across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for Units Under Test (UUT), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to support test schedules.
  • Coordinate procurement and logistics of components, including ordering, tracking, and expediting parts through internal systems and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate test requirements into actionable kitting plans, ensuring all components, tools, and documentation are ready.
  • Maintain and improve kitting processes, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements aligned with defined procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to the Central Planning Team, including weekly reports on kit readiness, delivery status, and risk mitigation.
  • Support additional tasks as directed by your line manager in connection with the role.

  • Experience managing end-to-end test kitting processes in engineering or automotive testing environments.
