Summary: The role is for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM / Payroll Consultant on a 6-month contract, focusing on enterprise-scale payroll and HR transformation projects. The consultant will engage in design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder interactions within complex UK payroll frameworks. The position requires deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll to support live Oracle Cloud programmes. The role is hybrid working and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing end-to-end functional ownership across Oracle Fusion Payroll and HCM modules
- Interpreting and implementing complex UK payroll rules, including statutory and occupational schemes
- Supporting workshops, solution design, process playbacks, and stakeholder sessions
- Leading or contributing to SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and go-live activities
- Advising on solution improvements, policy alignment, and post-implementation support
- Working alongside technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting where required
Key Skills:
- Expert functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM / Payroll, including Core HR, Absence Management, Timecards / OTL, UK Payroll
- Proven ability to hit the ground running in complex payroll environments
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments, and pension processing
- Hands-on experience across end-to-end payroll delivery, not just configuration
- Prior project experience involving Oracle Fusion Payroll and UKG (Kronos)
- Comfortable operating in large, regulated organisations (public sector, education, infrastructure, or enterprise private sector)

This role requires deep functional expertise across Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll, with the ability to quickly understand and operate within complex UK payroll frameworks.
The Role
You will play a key functional role across design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder engagement, contributing immediately to live or in-flight Oracle Cloud programmes.
