Summary: The Programme Test Manager will oversee the end-to-end testing strategy for a global ERP implementation, ensuring quality assurance across various workstreams such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. This role involves developing a comprehensive testing strategy, leading test teams, managing defects, and engaging with stakeholders to report on progress and risks. The position is based in Belfast and requires on-site presence three days a week. The contract is initially for three months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global testing strategy including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance, and Regression Testing.
- Lead, coach, and support functional test teams and business subject-matter experts.
- Facilitate daily defect triage sessions and work with internal and external teams to resolve issues.
- Serve as the quality assurance liaison, providing reporting on progress, risks, and recommendations to the Programme Board.
- Drive the adoption of test automation using Infor testing tools and third-party solutions.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale ERP testing initiatives.
- Solid understanding of both Waterfall and Agile testing methodologies.
- Comfortable with complex system integrations, APIs, and data migration processes.
Salary (Rate): £575 daily

I am currently working with a client who requires a Programme Test manager to lead the end-to-end testing strategy for a global ERP implementation programme. This person will lead quality assurance across multiple workstream including Finance, Supply chain and manufacturing.
Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a robust global testing strategy encompassing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance, and Regression Testing.
Team Leadership & Guidance: Lead, coach, and support functional test teams and business subject-matter experts, setting clear standards for testing processes and defect management.
Defect & Issue Management: Facilitate daily defect triage sessions, working closely with internal development teams and external Infor partners to prioritise and resolve issues efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central quality assurance liaison, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and Go/No-Go recommendations to the Programme Board.
Automation & Tooling: Drive the adoption of test automation, leveraging Infor testing tools and third-party solutions to optimise regression testing cycles.
