Test Analyst

Summary: The Test Analyst role is a 6-month contract position within a leading financial services client, focusing on security and privileged access systems. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of systems related to Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with proven software testing experience in PAM/IAM environments. The role is hybrid, requiring two days onsite in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test complex systems, APIs, and security protocols related to PAM and IAM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and security.
• Utilize testing tools and methodologies to validate security measures.
• Maintain documentation and reporting of testing processes and results.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in software testing, preferably in PAM/IAM environments.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea (Thycotic), or Microsoft PAM.
• Deep understanding of least privilege access and privileged account security.
• Proficient in API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Skilled with test management tools, especially JIRA.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices is a bonus.
• Exposure to cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a bonus.
• Relevant certifications: ISTQB, CISSP, CISM, CyberArk Defender.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, PCI-DSS) is a bonus.
