Summary: The Technical Delivery Manager will lead security vulnerability management efforts within the TechOps team at Tesco Bank, focusing on compliance with security and risk management SLAs. This role requires a blend of technical infrastructure experience and stakeholder management, ensuring effective delivery across various environments. The position is based in Edinburgh/Glasgow with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week in the office. The initial contract length is 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and align Tech Infrastructure teams to mitigate security vulnerabilities across Wintel Estates, Networks, and Data Centres.
  • Lead MS patching and security remediation strategies, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  • Manage penetration testing (Pen Test) remediation and ensure security risks are addressed proactively.
  • Streamline security operations workflows, managing vulnerability remediation at scale.
  • Provide end-to-end technical delivery oversight, ensuring security and risk initiatives are implemented efficiently.
  • Drive cross-team collaboration within Windows, Unix, Networks, and End-User Computing to optimise infrastructure security.
  • Ensure alignment with vulnerability management SLAs, tracking and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Balance BAU security operations with remediation of ongoing and emerging threats.
  • Engage with senior leadership, risk, compliance, and security operations teams to manage priorities and escalations.
  • Track, report, and manage risk exposure across infrastructure security estates.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to deliver security improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in Technical Delivery Management within Infrastructure Security & Operations.
  • Strong background in Networks, Unix, Windows, and Data Centre environments. (Advantageous)
  • Expertise in Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing Remediation, and Risk Governance. (Advantageous)
  • Experience working with Security Operations teams, tracking and mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, managing relationships with tech teams, security teams, and senior executives.
