Summary: The Cloud Infrastructure Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering comprehensive transformation implementations across various business and technology domains. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud and infrastructure, particularly with Microsoft Azure, to facilitate business change through cloud solutions. The position is fully remote and is expected to last for six months. The architect will leverage extensive experience in cloud architecture to guide large-scale migrations and cloud-native application designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and design cloud and infrastructure solutions to support business transformation.
- Deliver comprehensive cloud-based IT life cycle management.
- Lead large-scale cloud migrations and multi-cloud integrations.
- Implement cloud security practices and data protection techniques.
- Utilize Azure services and tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of IT experience with 7-10 years in cloud architecture, focusing on Microsoft Azure.
- Deep understanding of Azure services and cloud security practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Azure certifications preferred, along with experience in containerization and Agile methodologies.
