Summary: The Tax Consultant role involves ensuring compliance with income and indirect tax filings, managing tax strategies, and advising on tax-related matters for a leading global financial services firm. The position requires preparation of tax returns and collaboration with various teams to support tax compliance and provision processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns and tax return work papers for non-US subsidiaries.
- Prepare quarterly analysis for US tax provision related to non-US taxable income and tax credit results.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required for tax compliance or provision processes.
- Contribute to the international team’s workpaper redesign initiative.
- Work with various teams on projects and information requests related to tax compliance.
Key Skills:
- Interest in manipulating, calculating, and interpreting data sets for US tax compliance.
- Strong time management capabilities and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
