Senior Systems Engineer (Outside IR35)
Wiring, Testing & Commissioning | Multi-Site Projects |
We’re working with a specialist engineering business delivering bespoke systems projects across high-profile UK sites. They are looking for an experienced Contract Systems Engineer to support ongoing installations, commissioning, and project delivery work.

The Role
You’ll be working across several live projects involving:

  • System wiring and electrical integration
  • Testing and fault finding
  • Calibration and commissioning
  • Control panels, pumps, and associated systems
  • Supporting installation activities on-site
  • Working from existing drawings and firmware documentation
  • Assisting with system setup and potentially some programming/configuration work

The company already has the firmware, drawings, and documentation in place they need someone capable of stepping in and delivering reliably.

Locations
Projects are currently based across:

  • Central London (near Buckingham Palace)
  • Bristol
  • Woking
  • Oxford

Travel between sites will be required, so this role would suit someone happy working in a mobile field-based capacity.
Exposure to software/programming/configuration work is also desirable.
