The skills expected of Systems Accountant contractors combine solid accounting knowledge with hands-on experience configuring the relevant financial management system. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is widely expected, providing the accounting foundation needed to understand how system configuration decisions translate into financial outcomes.
