Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload, completing Care Act Assessments, reviews, and support planning, including Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decisions.
  • Provide supervision to colleagues, oversee quality assurance and audits, and ensure high standards in casework.
  • Manage safeguarding enquiries and oversee the daily duty function on a rota basis.
  • Collaborate with a range of professionals to ensure effective care planning and service delivery.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) registered with Social Work England.
  • Extensive experience in Learning Disability Services.
  • Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding policies.
  • Experience in supervision, quality assurance, and managing complex cases.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
