Summary: The Supply Chain Programme Manager (SCPM) at NES Fircroft is tasked with defining and executing sourcing transfer projects for a global power technology company. This role involves managing a team to ensure efficient delivery of components for gas turbines, overseeing project quality, risk management, and resource allocation. The SCPM will also act as a liaison between stakeholders and lead a Change Control Board to manage programme changes. The position requires a strong background in project management and aerospace component manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a programme of sourcing transfer projects for gas turbine components.
- Manage programme team members and resources to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Liaise between the A35 Portfolio and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project quality management, risk management, performance reporting, and budgeting.
- Establish and manage a Change Control Board for programme changes.
- Report to a steering committee advisory board with cross-functional executives.
- Ensure the sourcing and qualification of up to 200 components within 3 years.
Key Skills:
- Recognized Project Management Certification.
- Sound business and/or engineering knowledge with a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Significant experience in project management, engineering, or supply chain roles.
- Understanding of OEM & Service business processes and process improvement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace component manufacturing and sourcing processes.
- Understanding of aerospace design & product change control processes.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and engage at all business levels.
