To translate commercial demand forecasts into accurate, actionable supply plans across assigned categories, ensuring timely product availability across all channels. The Supply Planner is responsible for aggregating demand signals, generating purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to expedite stock flow and maintain service levels. The role sits at the heart of operational execution—ensuring the right products are ordered in the right quantities, at the right time, to support business growth, minimise stock risk, and maintain customer availability.

Support the implementation and ongoing refinement of the WSSI and Open-to-Buy frameworks across assigned planning categories. Contribute to supply planning process improvements by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in current ordering, expediting, or stock flow practices. Participate in transformation initiatives, including tool enhancements, data integrations, or planning automation projects. Provide data and input for cross-functional Squad initiatives, helping improve availability, efficiency, and supplier performance across the end-to-end supply chain.

Convert demand forecasts from Commercial Planning into actionable supply plans, generating accurate and timely purchase orders. Monitor and manage open order books, proactively expediting shipments and resolving delays to ensure on-time, in-full delivery. Track supplier OTIF performance and work with Procurement and Supply Chain Ops to address service failures or systemic issues. Maintain visibility of inbound supply, flagging potential gaps, delays, or surplus to key stakeholders. Support availability targets by balancing inbound flow with trading activity, promotional events, and inventory constraints. Use planning tools (e.g., WSSI) to ensure supply plans are aligned with Open-to-Buy budgets and working capital targets.

Previous experience in supply planning, order management, inventory control, or similar roles within a retail or FMCG environment. Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and resolving inbound delivery issues. Experience with planning or ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to support service level targets through strong planning and expediting activity. Experience working cross-functionally with Commercial, Procurement, and Distribution teams. Strong understanding of supply planning principles, including order management, demand translation, and stock flow. Working knowledge of inventory management metrics (e.g., OTIF, DIO, WSSI, aged stock). Familiarity with supply chain systems and tools. Awareness of the broader end-to-end supply chain process, including supplier relationships, commercial forecasting, and distribution operations. Knowledge of product lifecycle stages and how they influence supply planning needs (e.g., NPD, delists, seasonal ranges).
