Summary: This role is responsible for leading the operational aspects of the UK&I team, ensuring efficient product flow from France while managing day-to-day operations across the region. The position requires a proactive approach to address future challenges and emphasizes efficiency and cost management, with a significant operational budget. The role also involves collaboration with teams in France and Ireland and requires strong project management skills. Additionally, the individual will support the Head of Supply Chain UKI as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability of the day-to-day operations in UK&I
- Responsible for ensuring goods flow smoothly to the UK&I
- Responsible for the budgeting process for the UK, annual Trade Compliance audits and product recalls
- Manage import operations including providing import/export requirements and opportunities, entity management, post shipment audit
- Project management such as initiative on co-packing, efficiency, and productivity
- Be a key player in the Supply Chain team with managing key stakeholders both internal and external and leading operational meetings showcasing key KPIs
- Managing 2 direct reports responsible for the movement of goods from production to retailer store
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years' experience in an operational background within chilled FMCG
- Ability to work in French
- Experience with Import/Export regulations and operational process
- Experience in operational tasks, haulier management and order processing
- A strong understanding of the budget process and S&OP
- Process development, standardization, change management and execution skills
- Understanding and leveraging of Continuous Improvement tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and personal presence to communicate internally and externally at all levels as well as across functions, communication with government agencies
- Proficiency with Processes and Systems
- Ability to understand impact to upstream and downstream Global Trade & FSQ processes

This role will lead the operational side to the UK&I team and ensure products flow as quickly and efficiently as possible from France. They will have three direct operational reports and be accountable for the day-to-day operation across UK and Ireland. Equally, the proactive approach is fundamental in this role factoring in future challenges linked both internally and externally and planning contingencies around this. The role also requires a strong focus on efficiency and cost with the UK currently spending circa £15m operationally. Cross collaborative relations with France and Ireland are key areas of focus in this role and a strong background of leading complex projects is key. The role will also act as a support for the Head of Supply Chain UKI and cover this role when required.
