Summary: The Subsea Engineer (Decommissioning) role involves providing specialized technical support throughout various project phases, focusing on quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, as well as budget performance. The position requires collaboration with the Project Delivery Team and third-party suppliers to ensure successful project execution and compliance with industry regulations. The engineer will also contribute to the development of subsea decommissioning programs and manage multiple work fronts effectively. This role is critical in supporting the decommissioning of subsea infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure activities follow relevant Company requirements, industry standards, UK laws/regulations, and that involved work processes are being executed accordingly.
  • Support the Subsea EPRD Technical Lead.
  • Support the development of the detailed subsea materials inventory for decommissioning.
  • Provide specialist subsea installation, removal, decommissioning, manufacture and design input to the project.
  • Liaise with 3rd party Suppliers & Contractors for onshore delivery of Project / studies.
  • Provide input to development of project Subsea Decommissioning Programmes.
  • Work with the decommissioning project team / workstream to identify, and develop scopes for, specific studies necessary to support the decommissioning of the subsea infrastructure.

Key Skills:

  • Strong Technical focus.
  • Must be able to manage multiple work fronts and multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of subsea / pipeline projects including installation and decommissioning.
  • Experience of subsea / vessel-based operations.
  • Knowledge of safe working practices relating to offshore / subsea.

To provide specialist support through the planning / preparation / data gathering / execution phases as a specialised technical provider to the Project Delivery Team.
