Summary: The role of Sub Agent involves managing highways maintenance and improvement works for both local authority and private clients in East Sussex. The position requires overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards, and managing project timelines. The work will primarily be self-delivered and will take place across West and East Sussex. Hybrid working arrangements are offered, allowing for flexibility between client offices, site offices, and home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring upcoming works have risk assessments and method statements.
• Checking permits are in place and site labour, materials, and plant have been ordered.
• Checking levels on site when required and ensuring works are carried out as per construction drawings.
• Providing onsite support when required.
• Managing the programme to ensure the project meets deadlines.
