Summary: Expleo is seeking an experienced Storesperson to join their team on a contract basis at a major Automotive Research and Development facility in Bedfordshire. The role involves managing the receipt and booking of vehicle parts, ensuring stock control, and supporting departmental targets. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in stores operations and possess a forklift license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt of Goods In / Out, including unloading vehicle test parts in a timely manner
- Liaising with relevant departments to advise of parts arrival
- Picking test parts as requested by team members
- Support the Team Leader to meet Stores targets to ensure the performance of the department
- Support section management to maintain Health & Safety
- Work with the team to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and capture knowledge
Key Skills:
- Experience in Stores / Goods Inwards and Outwards
- Forklift licence – minimum of 4 tonnes
- Practical application experience
- Skilled using computer packages
- Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
- A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Current Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience within Automotive or Engineering or Vehicle build/prototype environment is desirable but not essential

Expleo are recruiting for an experienced Storesperson to join our team on a contract basis, supporting our client, a major Automotive manufacturer based in Bedfordshire, This position will be working within a major Automotive Research and Development facility, where the successful candidate will be required to ensure the timely receipt and booking in of vehicle parts, whilst ensuring that stock is controlled using relevant database systems.
Responsibilities of the Storesperson include:
