Full Stack Software Engineer (Contract) £650-£710/day | London (2–3 days on-site) | Inside IR35 SC Clearance required (must be eligible for Enhanced SC)

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join a high-impact digital transformation project within the National Security space. You'll be building secure, scalable applications as part of a multidisciplinary agile team, supporting mission-critical law enforcement capabilities.

Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React Next.js TypeScript
  • Backend: Node.js Express.js Azure Function Apps Elasticsearch Cosmos DB
  • DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (Web Apps, Function Apps, Kubernetes Service, API Management) Docker Kubernetes & Helm Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines) Bicep (Infrastructure as Code) Authentication via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) Elastic & Kibana for logging/monitoring

What you’ll need:

  • Strong experience across both frontend and backend development
  • Proven delivery of cloud-native applications (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP also considered)
  • SC Clearance (willingness to undergo Enhanced SC vetting)
  • UK residency with 5+ years of traceable history (required for clearance)
