Summary: Solution IT Inc. is seeking an SAP FICA Functional consultant for a remote position. The role involves configuring and supporting the SAP FICA solution while acting as a subject matter expert for financial processes. The consultant will collaborate with finance teams to translate business needs into SAP solutions and lead various SAP FICA-related business processes. This is a contract-to-hire position with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and support SAP FICA solution
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for financial processes and systems across the enterprise.
- Work closely with Finance & Corporate Accounting teams to understand business needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Serve as Functional Lead / Point of Contact for all SAP FICA related business process matters (System Upgrades, Defect Resolution, CR Management, Implementation(s), Country Rollouts, etc.)
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge/experience of FICA Configuration for business processes such as Dunning /Collection Strategy, Payments (cash desk/external cash desk) integration with payment channels, write off, Returns, Accruals & Deferrals, Clearing Strategy & Rules,
- Demonstrated knowledge of Payment Reconciliation with 3rd Party/Bank
- Demonstrated knowledge of leveraging FICA Events & BRF+ Rules to support several business processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP FICO to FICA Integration, as well as its applicability to month end close cycles.
- Demonstrated experience with deploying business improvement opportunities to existing / already built solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of working in a multi-tier architectural instance, either supporting or in an implementation capacity.
- Working knowledge of all the integration points to SAP FI-CA (Convergent Invoicing, FI-CO, external integrations, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of Bank Accounting, Intercompany Accounting processes in a B2B, Services based setting.
