Summary: The role of Snr Project Manager/Agile Delivery Manager involves overseeing complex software projects within the higher education sector, managing multiple workstreams including UAT and stakeholder engagement. The position requires a hands-on approach to project management, with a strong emphasis on both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical delivery oversight and reporting, ensuring effective communication with senior stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension, requiring on-site presence in central London 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple workstreams including UAT, functional requirements delivery, and implementation planning.
- Oversee stakeholder management and reporting on project progress.
- Provide technical delivery oversight and ensure project alignment with Agile methodologies.
- Engage with large suppliers and manage complex tripartite arrangements.
- Support the project team and manage in-flight projects across various workstreams.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in managing complex projects.
- Proven track record in both Waterfall and Agile project management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong familiarity with Jira for project tracking.
- Experience in higher education projects and knowledge of Ms Dynamics is desirable.
