Summary: The Site Technical Architect role focuses on delivering technical solutions in Windows, SCCM, Networks, Automation, and Security for a Blue Chip Client in Barrow in Furness. Candidates must possess valid SC Clearance and be sole UK nationals. The position requires strong customer handling skills and the ability to complete assigned tasks within set timeframes. This is a full-time on-site role for a duration of 4 months or more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframes.
  • Undertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project Managers.
  • Undertake NSR tasks to agreed timescales.
  • Possess exceptional customer handling skills.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows O/S (Windows 10 & Windows 7), including build, configuration, and registry settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • SCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, fault finding, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN/vLAN and Wi-Fi technologies, DHCP, DNS/WINS, PXE, and VPN/remote connectivity.
  • Understanding of Scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VB Scripting, and batch files.
  • Knowledge of disk encryption using BitLocker, NTFS permissions, and shared folder security.
  • Appreciation of the Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, and instant messaging tools.
  • Familiarity with computer peripherals including printers, display screens, docking stations, and scanners.
  • Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) software (ServiceNow).

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Site Technical Architect (Windows, SCCM, Networks, Automation, Security)

For this role candidates must hold a valid SC Clearance and be a sole UK national.

CONTRACTOR MUST HOLD SC CLEARANCE + BE SOLE UK NATIONAL (Only UK nationality)

MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA

Role Description:

The focus of your role
Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated timeframes
Undertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project Managers
Undertake NSR tasks to agreed timescales
Possess exceptional customer handling skills

Your skills and experience
An in-depth knowledge and good understanding of Microsoft Windows O/S (Windows 10 & Windows 7), including build, configuration and registry settings is required, along with a level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
SCCM experience including OS deployment, application deployment, faulting finding, monitoring and reporting desired
Networks experience to include an understanding of LAN/WAN/vLAN and Wi-Fi technologies, DHCP, DNS/WINS, PXE and VPN/remote connectivity
Automation - Understanding of Scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VB Scripting, and batch Files is beneficial
Security - knowledge of disk encryption using bit locker, NTFS permissions and shared folder security
An appreciation of the Microsoft Exchange environment, email client configuration, MS Outlook, instant messaging tools (Skype for business), along with general etiquette
Computer peripherals - including but not limited to printers (including MFD's), display screens, docking stations, port replicators, cameras and scanners
Working Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) software (ServiceNow)
