Summary: The Site Reliability Engineer role at 101 Ways involves designing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring high reliability and performance. The position requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD practices, along with a focus on observability and automation. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Supporting container orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE)
- Managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases
- Supporting data workflows using BigQuery
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Driving observability and reliability through monitoring, alerting, and automation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with GCP services, especially GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, and BigQuery
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database management and performance tuning
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tooling
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver)
- Scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python, or Go)
- Solid grasp of SRE principles (SLOs, error budgets, incident response)
- Nice to have - experience with AWS
