Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise schemes on-site, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Organise labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources efficiently.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including network managers, local authorities, community groups, and designers.
• Ensure all Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place before starting work.
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure all site personnel are competent and fully trained.
• Take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects, working closely with commercial teams.
• Keep accurate records, including site diaries, work activity logs, and resource allocations.
• Support the Scheme Delivery Manager in developing construction programmes and method statements.
• Build strong relationships with key supply chain partners.
• Assist with early contractor involvement, buildability considerations, and traffic management planning.
• Participate in value management and value engineering reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and performance requirements.

Key Skills:

• IOSH/SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card.
• HNC or Degree (preferred but not essential).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Commitment to health and safety.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to control costs within agreed budgets.
