Summary: The Senior Business Analyst for the ServiceNow ITOM Module will be responsible for capturing and defining business requirements within the IT Service Management function, focusing on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves direct interaction with customers and development teams, leading requirement specification and testing phases, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The position requires strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement in processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the current "as is processes"
- Requirement specification for enhancement requests for existing ITSM/ITOM tools and processes
- Leading various ITSM customer working and focus groups to solicit requirements
- Direct interaction with customers and on/off-shore development teams
- Identify areas of process and tooling improvement
- Ensure gaps are clearly defined and assessed
- Functional specification of "target state" processes
- Work closely with development teams throughout all phases
- Produce test strategies and engage actively in the testing phase
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with key project stakeholders
- Work closely with BAs in other ITSM streams
- Take an active role in customer and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Ownership throughout the project lifecycle
- Ongoing involvement in continuous improvement of operating processes and toolset enhancement
- Conversant with Agile methods including SCRUM
- Develop presentations to influence others and encourage ideas
- Manage stakeholders assertively and align with business objectives
- Identify and map stakeholders of the project
- Create and manage project plans
Key Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM platform
- Strong business analysis skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in requirement specification and testing
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify process improvements
- Team collaboration and project management experience
