Summary: The role of ServiceNow Software Developer involves designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The developer will work collaboratively with clients to create and integrate Service Portal components while ensuring a user-friendly experience. This position requires a strong background in web development and ServiceNow scripting, with a focus on best practices and innovation. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week onsite in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize ServiceNow Service Portal pages, widgets, and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Extend portal functionality with ServiceNow APIs and integrations.
- Ensure responsive, user-friendly design and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the portal with ServiceNow modules and external systems.
- Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and support end users.
- Contribute to best practices, innovation, and technical problem-solving.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Service Portal development.
- Strong web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Expertise in ServiceNow development, including scripts, UI policies, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with AngularJS or modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and security best practices.
