Summary: The Service Planner role focuses on providing exceptional customer service by managing gas and electric service requests from initial inquiry to completion. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate various aspects of service connections, including documentation and permitting. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and knowledge of utility services. This role is based in San Jose, California, and is not remote-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison for customers and businesses requesting new gas and electric service connections
- Manage service requests end-to-end, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience
- Calculate load requirements based on customer needs and service specifications
- Create, update, and execute service order documentation in SAP throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and secure necessary permits for new service construction
- Ensure all work meets established company standards as well as state and federal regulations
Key Skills:
