Summary: The role of Service Delivery Manager involves overseeing the management and delivery of services across multiple suppliers in a complex, multi-sourced environment in Manchester. The position requires strong stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of IT service management principles, particularly within the SIAM framework. The successful candidate will ensure seamless service integration and optimal delivery aligned with business objectives while driving continuous improvement across service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end service integration across multiple suppliers, ensuring services are seamlessly delivered to meet agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Lead and enhance the SIAM framework to ensure effective governance, collaboration, and communication between internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
  • Establish and maintain robust service delivery processes, ensuring compliance with ITIL/ITSM best practices.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of supplier performance, proactively addressing issues and driving continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-supplier forums and meetings to ensure alignment, resolve disputes, and encourage a culture of partnership.
  • Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities by ensuring clear responsibilities and processes across suppliers.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze service performance data, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Act as the point of escalation for service issues and drive timely resolution in line with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure risk, compliance, and security requirements are met across all service providers.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that the services delivered meet or exceed business and end-user expectations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maturity of SIAM practices within the organization.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a SIAM Delivery Manager or similar role within a complex, multi-supplier IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of SIAM principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), with certification in ITIL v4 (Foundation as a minimum; additional certifications are advantageous).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and govern service providers, ensuring compliance with SLAs and driving continuous improvement.
