Senior Test Engineer

Summary: The Senior Test Engineer role involves ensuring quality assurance practices are embedded in software development, with a focus on collaboration and effective test automation. The position requires a versatile candidate who can work independently and alongside developers, particularly in API and backend testing. The contract is for 12 months, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring one day on-site. The role is classified as inside IR35.

• Embed Testing And Quality Practices In Software Development

• Understand various testing types and communicate across teams and levels
• Experience in large cross-team projects and collaborative testing
• API test creation and contract test creation with Pact Flow
• Influence team on appropriate testing at all levels of the Test Pyramid
• Post-release monitoring and tracing experience (Grafana and/or Honeycomb)
• Conduct non-functional testing (Performance and Security)
• Utilize Java experience
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and influencing skills
• Implement front-end automation with Playwright
• Experience with AWS and GitLab
