Summary: The Senior Strategic Buyer role is a fixed-term contract focused on managing supplier negotiations and contractual agreements within the Non-Fleet Procurement team at Europcar. The position involves leading RFPs and tenders to achieve strategic cost-saving targets while ensuring sustainable value across various supplier categories. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility between the Leicester Head Office and home working. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing supplier relationships and supporting business process owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Price and contract negotiations with external suppliers
• Execution of RFPs and tenders
• Supporting Business Process owners with negotiations and contractual queries
• Working closely with the Legal, Finance, and Contract management teams
• Promoting sourcing and procurement processes and procedures
• Supplier spend analysis and benchmarking
• Optimisation of existing and future supplier relationships, processes, and spend
• Achieving UK and Group cost-saving targets
