Summary: The Senior React Developer will join a high-performing data and digital engineering team to develop enterprise-grade web applications for a leading UK bank. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and focuses on building scalable applications within a cloud-first architecture. The position is delivered via a top-tier consultancy and involves working inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable web applications using React.js within a full-stack environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Advanced knowledge of React.js and familiarity with modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
- Experience working with .NET, C#, or similar backend frameworks (beneficial for full-stack capability).
- Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or CosmosDB.
- Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
