Summary: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in a transforming organization, focusing on both frontend and backend testing. Your responsibilities will include writing and executing automated test cases, developing testing frameworks, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. The role requires strong technical skills in automation tools and .NET development, along with effective communication within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing and executing automated test cases for UI and APIs.
  • Using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright for frontend automation.
  • Conducting API testing with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
  • Identifying edge cases and unexpected inputs through negative testing.
  • Ensuring system stability under invalid or extreme conditions.
  • Validating security and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Developing a Testing Framework / Practice.
  • Setting up automated test suites for regression and integration testing.
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated tests.
  • Defining best practices for test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
  • Writing test automation scripts in C# using NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
  • Contributing to backend development when testing workload is low.
  • Writing and optimizing database queries (Entity Framework, SQL).
  • Debugging and fixing backend issues alongside the development team.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in frontend and backend testing.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman and RestAssured.
  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET 6+ for API development.
  • Ability to write test automation scripts in C#.
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., CircleCI).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with Typescript and GIT.
