Summary: The Senior Project Manager role focuses on developing a new cyber risk management framework for a client, emphasizing effective risk categorization and implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of a new cyber risk framework, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the categorization and structuring of cyber risks to enhance risk visibility and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective risk governance and compliance.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful implementation.
- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in cybersecurity risk management.
- Identify, assess, and communicate cyber risks to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cybersecurity, compliance, and risk teams to integrate risk management practices across the business.
- Ensure continuous improvement of risk methodologies, reporting mechanisms, and control frameworks.
- Drive engagement and training sessions to enhance risk awareness and best practices.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in Cyber Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cyber risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, FAIR).
- Experience working with risk categorization and governance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity risk.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
