Summary: The Senior Process Engineer role is a 12-month contract position based in Basingstoke, focusing on various projects related to oil and gas production facilities, particularly in LNG and renewables. The engineer will support the Project Discipline Lead Engineer and may lead smaller project teams, ensuring the delivery of process engineering deliverables and managing contractor activities. The position requires a high level of autonomy and technical expertise in process engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading smaller project teams or working autonomously to deliver specific scopes of work.
• Debottlenecking existing facilities and coordinating the production of multi-discipline reports.
• Production and checking of standard process engineering deliverables according to company and international standards.
• Follow-up of contractor activities, including checking contractor documentation in line with company specifications.
• Manage process activities and liaise with team members across multiple geographical locations.

Key Skills:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.
• Chartered engineering certification with the Institute of Chemical Engineers preferred.
• Experience with FEED and EPC projects for oil and gas processing facilities.
• Experience as a Lead Engineer providing hands-on technical support.
• Ability to work autonomously on assigned tasks.
• Experience using HYSYS simulation is advantageous.
• Experience on projects from feasibility phase through detailed design and construction.
• Specific expertise in CCUS, LNG, or offshore technologies is advantageous.
