Senior Process Engineer

Summary: The Senior Process Engineer will lead technical assurance and engineering oversight during the EPC phase of the MOG Eni JV Structures A&E Project, focusing on detailed engineering finalization, vendor package management, and commissioning preparation. The role requires extensive experience in upstream oil and gas EPC delivery, particularly with offshore production facilities. The position may be based in Milan or allow for short-term remote work from the UK, with travel to vendor sites in Italy. The candidate must possess the right to work in the UK or EU, depending on their location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and approve detailed process engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to EPC contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage contractor design changes and ensure readiness for construction and operations handover.
• Lead technical reviews of vendor documentation for process equipment.
• Attend key vendor activities such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Participate in process safety activities and support safety assessments.
• Provide day-to-day process engineering support to construction teams.
• Contribute to the development of system commissioning procedures.
• Review and approve final documentation for process systems.
• Ensure traceability of technical decisions and risk mitigation actions.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or Process Engineering.
• Extensive experience in EPC execution of upstream oil & gas facilities.
• Proven track record with topside facilities and production separation systems.
• Strong process engineering background including sizing and simulations.
• Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO, IEC, NORSOK).
• Experienced in managing HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA actions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a multi-discipline EPC environment.
