Summary: The Senior PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in the Technology function of a leading Investment Bank, focusing on the delivery of IT projects. This position involves providing support and assurance for in-flight deliveries, ensuring effective governance across the project portfolio. The analyst will be responsible for planning, reporting, and administrative support for infrastructure programmes and projects. The role requires engagement with stakeholders to influence outcomes and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the provision of support services to projects.
- Use and recommend project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects.
- Gather, maintain, and analyse workforce capability data.
- Perform gap analysis to identify workforce strengths and shortfalls with reference to business strategy and specific future needs.
- Support the delivery and governance of infrastructure programmes and projects.
Key Skills:
- Exposure to infrastructure project delivery (e.g., data centres, cloud migration, networks, servers, storage, workplace technology).
- Extensive experience in engaging stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
- Relevant experience working in a delivery environment, preferably in a Financial Services environment.
- Demonstrable understanding of key PMO responsibilities, methods, disciplines, tools, and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with methods and techniques for reporting progress and financial conformance against an agreed plan.
- Familiarity with principles, methods, techniques, and tools for effective project management from initiation through to implementation.
