Summary: The Senior PMO Analyst role at ACCA involves managing the monthly programme governance cycle and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective project management within the Digital Transformation Programme. The position requires strong analytical skills and communication abilities to support decision-making and reporting processes. The role is flexible in terms of location but may require travel to the Glasgow office for meetings and workshops. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for one year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly programme governance cycle and cadence by setting up programme governance meetings, creation of packs and collating outputs.
- Ensure risk, issues, assumptions, and dependencies are actively managed and chair the responding weekly and monthly meetings.
- Undertake portfolio analysis of plans, change logs, risk & issues registers and dependency networks providing insightful information to senior stakeholders at time of need.
- Work closely with external delivery partners to ensure the programme has clear controls in place to manage outputs and escalations.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of delivery partner resources.
- Support programme/project planning and enforce agreed governance structures and processes.
- Support the in-flight project audit and review process, including the creation of detailed reports for senior stakeholders.
- Set up and manage programme workshops with key stakeholders as required.
- Ensure weekly programme reporting to senior management provides the right level of detail for updates and escalations.
- Support the active management of programme budgets, including tracking forecasted spend and managing the month-end financial process.
- Support resource management processes and production of associated deliverables, highlighting resource shortfalls and spare capacity.

The Job
Reporting to the PMO Manager and DT Programme Manager, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
- Manage the monthly programme governance cycle and cadence by setting up programme governance meetings, creation of packs and collating outputs.
- Ensure risk, issues, assumptions, and dependencies are actively managed and chair the responding weekly and monthly meetings.
- Undertake portfolio analysis of plans, change logs, risk & issues registers and dependency networks providing insightful information to senior stakeholders at time of need.
- Working closely with our external delivery partner to ensure the programme has clear controls in place to manage outputs and escalations.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding of delivery partner resources.
- Support programme/project planning.
- Support and enforce agreed portfolio/programme/project governance structures and processes e.g., reporting requirements, and that stakeholders involved in the project/programmes (including Project Managers) are supported and coached as required.
- Support the in-flight project audit and review process, including the creation of detailed reports for senior stakeholders.
- Set up and manage programme workshops with key stakeholders as required
- Ensure weekly programme reporting to senior management provides the right level of detail to provide programme updates and escalation as required.
- Support the active management of programme budgets, including tracking forecasted spend, managing Purchase Orders, reviewing actuals, and managing the month end financial process for the programme.
- Support resource management processes and the production of associated deliverables (e.g. resource capacity plan), by undertaking analysis of complex supply and demand information, and highlighting any resource short-falls and spare capacity to the relevant governance board either within a specific project/programme or across the portfolio of change.

- Has Azure Dev Ops experience preferable.
