Summary: The Senior Platform Engineer role focuses on building and automating a secure, multi-tenant cloud platform for a cutting-edge AI software company. This position is the first dedicated infrastructure hire and requires expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in London each week. The contract is for an initial 6 months with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and automate a secure, multi-tenant cloud platform from the ground up.
- Support enterprise clients in highly regulated environments.
- Utilize technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and ensure secure enterprise SaaS deployments.
- Monitor, scale, and automate platform infrastructure.
- Address complex infrastructure and security challenges within AI/LLM environments.
Key Skills:
- Experience with production-grade Kubernetes platforms.
- Knowledge of multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD, IAM, and observability tools.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, preferably London-based.
