Summary: The Insolvency Service is seeking a Paralegal for a 6-month hybrid contract, requiring three days of work in either Manchester or Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing disqualification cases submitted for authority to proceed (ATP) and making recommendations regarding public interest for disqualification and compensation proceedings.
• Collaborating with investigators and chief investigators to ensure appropriate and timely decision-making.
• Handling post-ATP matters, liaising with defendants, and ensuring timely delivery of disqualification and compensation undertakings.
• Reviewing referrals from Companies House for breaches of legislation and drafting Charging Decisions.
• Arranging and chairing Senior Paralegal monthly technical meetings on a rota basis.
• Working with colleagues across Legal Services Directorate to develop and share best practices and policies.
