Summary: Opticore IT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on medium to large-scale Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects for various clients. This hybrid role involves client engagement, project design, implementation, and support, with a focus on delivering security solutions. The position is a 6-month contract inside IR35, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an advocate for Opticore while working with clients on SDWAN solutions.
- Engage with customers during the discovery phase, design, implementation, and handover.
- Address a variety of issues related to the product and internal network challenges.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the product set and main contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist customers with hardware sizing.
Key Skills:
- Consultative mindset and approach.
- Proven history of delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
- Confidence to push back to clients or internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Extensive experience in networking.

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Network Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects varying in design, implementation and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects with various clients. This opportunity is a hybrid position with the need to visit the client site on occasion, potentially 1 day a week at most . This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, which is highly likely to be extended.
What you'll be doing: An advocate of Opticore, working with our client, who is a leader in security, delivering multiple projects focused on their SDWAN solution. Working directly with clients, helping them not only achieve their goals but also helping them understand the difference between their wants and needs. Activity engaging with the customer during the discovery phase, Design, Implementation and handover. Dealing with a variety of issues, ranging from the product itself to internal network issues. Become an SME on their product set and the main contact point for the client on the full life cycle of the projects (design & implementation) Assisting customers with hardware sizing
